Recap

Ok, so I've been out for a while. It's been beyond crazy at the house with so much going on. Due to all the excitement, my blog has taken a backseat. Err- trunk seat. Alright, so it's been more like I duct-taped it's non-existent legs together, threw it in the trunk, and left the car in the desert. My bad.

So, to recap for all of you who haven't been informed, the last moth has consisted of the following:

I started back into school (online classes), and found a not-so-pretty virus in my pc two days before class started. The virus spread to my laptop, completely erasing all of my photos. (When will I learn to make back-up copies?)

School started with a bang, and with little disappointment in how much work is assigned.

Dylan also started his first year of school. During his first couple days, I hid under the covers of my bed with a bottle of vodka, some heroin, a pack of Lucky's, and a life alert necklace. After seeing him return from school each day without gunshot wounds, I quickly warmed to the thought of having one child in school while the other took his afternoon nap. Three blissful hours of silence have done wonders to my brain. What do I do? Whatever the hell I want. I got a sun tan today, thankyouverymuch.

He's been doing well at school, but the one-hour home bus ride seems to let Dylan's wild side loose. He has already been banned from sitting next to his best friend on the bus, and can no longer sit in the back. Since those changes have been made, there haven't been any more problems.

Also newsworthy- I went out with a two girlfriends for the night, sans Mark for the first time since having kids. YIKES! Not such a good idea, I found out at the end of the night.... and many snakebites and jager bombs. After my one friend and I stumbled out of a local bar, the other friend noticed that two cops were coming towards us in the parking lot. The police focused all their attention on me (since I'm so stunning), and proceded to run my license- even though I didn't drive, have no valid license (due to the seizures), and wasn't doing anything wrong besides acting like a skipping ADD school kid through the parking lot. Words were exchanged, and they wanted to take me in for public intoxication. Here was the conversation:

Cop: Miss, you appear to be intoxicated.
Me: Nope, sir, I think you are confuuuuuuused. I am f%^& trashed. HAHAHAHA!
Cop: Okay, so let's get you settled into the cruiser, and we'll take you down to the station where you can sober up.
Me: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Thanks to the grace of God, some jackass drove a million miles per hour right past us. The two cops decided that was more important, and allowed me to be driven home by our very sober (and annoyed at this point) designated driver.

In our local accident reports, one of our friends walked away with only a cut lip after rolling his truck.

So that's it, in a nutshell. Lots of big things happening in one small amount of time. I'm making a better attempt to update now. I promise. Really...no, really. It's not you, it's me.

I thought you'd got too close to flashing lights and done a coma. Seriously.

I trust there were no passengers in that rolled truck (surely they're not supposed to fold like that?)

And the cops... can't a girl get drunk and walk funny? Why is it a crime just to get drunk (and doing no harm save self-humiliation)?

Can't kill me that easily. Nope, nobody was in the truck with him, thankfully.

And, seriously, the cops in this small town have nothing- NOTHING better to do. I wish it was caught on a dash cam. I would like to see that someday. I also remember asking the officer for a "hair thingy." Classic.

Terri- I'm not alone? I think it has something to do with the jager/beer combo. Superpowered alliance.
