Petty Ramblings

Since Dylan is furthering his education this fall, I decided to jump back on the wagon and enroll in fall classes....again. This time I don't anticipate any problems completing the semester. My doctor in Philly said that since the Photosensitive Epilepsy was out of the question, I won't be twitching during my online classes. Out of a possible three class maximum for this semester, I have chosen only two: Interpersonal Communications (which I started last time- hoping I won't have to buy new books), and Psych 101.

That's right- after taking Psych 101 at a previous college, and later on working for a counseling center for seven years, as well as taking some fresh Psych interns under my wing through those years, the school is requiring me to take the class as part of my core curriculum.

I blame Bush.

I can think of a million more things which are much more important in the world to cry about, but this is my blog, and I'll cry if I want to. Sorry, Darfur.

One thing I'm pretty stoked about though, is the invention of Microsoft Office OneNote. I'm hoping that it will do my homework for me. I'll let you know who that goes...

In other world-changing news, I'm getting my hair cut tonight. The girl who I am entrusting is the younger sister to one of my friends. Here's the conversation we had over the phone:

T: So, when is a good time for you?
Me: Anytime after 7 pm, because I have to wait for Mark to come home first.
T: Okay, that works great for me too.
Me: SO, should I come over with wet hair? Would that make it easier for you?
T: Yeah. So, what do you want to drink then?
Me: Uhhh. Well, I was going to pick up some Bacardi wine coolers since I drank most of your mom's the last time I came to visit. But, uh- shouldn't you wait until you're done cutting before you go to drink?
T: I'm a straight snipper. No worries.
