There IS a God, and He is funny as hell.

I'm going to take some time (finally) to fill you all in on our adventure from the past few weeks...

Around the fourth, we had our fair share of parties. My sister and older brother (with family) came in, and we had our annual family party at our house this year.

Mark was our griller extraordinaire, as well as our tour guide. We have an exceptional view from the hill behind our house, and we used the tractor to take groups of the family to see it.

At the end of the evening, we took the tractor one last time to the hill to watch the sunset, set off some fireworks, and made s'mores over the fire from the grill.



It went off pretty well with only one minor exception... We had the radio playing through the outdoor speakers all day. I had selected a channel which minimized the commercials for the weekend- knowing people would want to play it during their parties. While my grandparents were putting their coats on, and saying their goodbyes that night, I turned to look at my brother who was laughing his ass off. His eyes were huge, and his face was turning red when I asked him what was so funny. He said, "2 Live Crew!" I turned my ear to the radio, and sure as shit- 2 Live Crew's song "Me So Horny" was playing on the radio. Thankfully neither of my grandparents had their hearing aides turned up enough to hear it. I gave them their hugs, kisses, and leftovers as I heard the infamous Full Metal Jacket words screaming from the speakers: "Oh, me so horny. Me love you long time..."
