I thought that the interactive modules were slowing down the blog. So, I created a poll for everyone to vote for the module that they chose was least liked. After all of the negative campaigning from all of the interactive modules, things got sketchy. (No, not really, but it makes the entry sound good). The
results are in, and after a whopping 8 votes (cough, sarcasm) the people have spoken. I will be keeping all the interactive modules, and holding the option to add more.
I hope more of you will make it out to vote today for the election spectacular. Although I would want a democratic majority to come out of this vote, I just want to see people vote. Happy Election Day.
(Subliminal message: vote Democrat)

As far as I'm aware there are 161 democratically governed countries in the world. I believe the U.S. ranks as 131st as to how democratic it is. I pity Americans, widespread voter disenfranchisement on a scale Putin would be proud of, Presidents getting elected when more people have voted for someone else, limitless electoral budgets so that it becomes a marketing excercise rather than the issues rising through. The worst thing is the Republicans don't care how the outside world or indeed the electorate see them as long as they can cheat the system and hold power.
Remember, vote early and vote often.
As you can see I'm a bit of fence sitter.
I couldn't have said it better, Monty. Honestly, you nailed it- Right. On. The. Head.
I voted a democratic ticket...well, except for one. Voted independent on that one. I couldn't stand either one of the other candidates.
And it seems like a good day to utter this once again.
FUCK BUSH!
I'll be yelling it all night as I watch the results coming in. If Dems don't get control, my sister will call me tomorrow in a state of despair. Again. (I of course will be curled up in fetal position, cuddling my bottle of JD). Fuck Bush.
So, Senate and Congress. I hope that now makes a difference. But I hope someone sees fit to shoot him anyway.
It's a start. Rumsfeld leaving is another good step. I cannot wait for 2008.
