For sure

There are very few things in life that anyone is sure of. Really, really sure of. One thing I am sure of, is that my sister loves me. We talk to each other nearly every morning. She tells me of the drama that occurs in a single, city-dwelling, twenty-something woman's days. I, in exchange, tell her of the trials and tribulations of a married, mother of two, twenty-something. She calls me on her way to work in the morning. God forbid if I don't answer my phone.

She gets nervous when I am not home for the ritual phone call- but in a weird, speaks a foreign tongue way. When I return home from whatever I was doing, I check my answering machine.

This is very typical of my sister, Lauren. She often leaves me messages from work, and doesn't want people to hear her, so she'll whisper...or whisper-sing. Sometimes she's incomprehensible. This is normal. Do not be alarmed.

If you pay close attention, you may recognize a popular song heard in grocery stores at Christmas time. Name that tune. For those of you who understand weird, sisterly, love- enjoy. For those who don't, don't even bother pushing play.

Oh, and how about that hottie in my photoshow! 'Bout time I took a good picture of him to show off.

So...Lauren dabbles in...crack? ;)

(know that I'm seriously perplexed, and amused, and reminded of MY sister. I think you should give her your cell phone number so she can whisper-sing to you without having to go through all that worry, dammit, Sarah!)

I honestly don't have a clue to say about your sister. The whisper-sing reminds me of twin-speak, in that I'm betting only YOU can decipher her. I wish I had siblings that cared enough to call everyday, though. You're obviously blessed.

And about the hunk in your photoshow. That photo is beautiful. Of course the subject matter helped. I'm loving your work.

well, crap. let me clarify. I don't want you to think that the new camera does all the work. What I meant was that it has obviously spurred you on to create. create new work that is incredible. not that you couldn't have done it with the old camera, but the new one must have lit a new fire. got it? whew.

Indigo- That would be a sensible solution...probably why I haven't thought of doing that.

Jock- it is like twin speak... We tried to develop our own language, but lost interest after forming only one word- Terret.

It means "shit." Classy, eh?

I must be fluent in Jock as well, because you didn't need to clarify. I understood you. Thank you.

I dread my brother's phone calls and messages. Sisters are different.
