A Rare Bird
I'm alive. I've just been busy, and when I'm not, I've temporarily run out of quality things to say. (aka- I've been lazy) I should be updating within the next few days. Until then, enjoy this one. I had to sneak up on this little guy to catch him in such a state.
These two are for dad- we made sure we found those birds. I wish the last was a bit more clear.

The pics look fine although on the last one I know what you mean. The camera has focused on the background and the foreground is out a little. I'm no expert, so ask Jock, but it might be worth a try in PSP & which I think I gave you a link for. It was possible at that time to download it free.
Make a selection around Jordan? and sharpen the selection using unsharp mask. Experiment with the settings unsharp mask offers, you can roll it back and retry with slightly different settings. When happy merge the layers again and it should have at least sharpened it a bit.Alternatively you could at the same time soften the background quite a bit, rendering it out of focus, which would draw the eye to the foreground more.
(I'm not sure if this will show up, Sarah...since you put up this entry, I have weird characters and numbers in the name/website blocks).
I love the classic scowl photo - he could be a stunt double for my son (15 years ago). Great photos, as always.
man, you take such great photos. really really great.
Monty- I did download that program that you gave me the link for. For someone who claims to not know too much about this stuff, you sure know a lot.
Indigo- The scowl is one of my favorite poses.
Patresa- Thank you
