Yeah, it's got a Hemi.

Yeehaw! Just in case we forgot that we lived in a town of approximately 30 people with an average tooth count of 4, our neighbors reaffirmed it for us.

Don't get me wrong, I love where we live. I truly do. I love that it is a stereotypical farm community. I enjoy driving past 3 barns just to get to the main road. I got a kick out of the fact that my husband's family honored Dylan by naming one of their newborn cows after him. The annual church picnic is more like a family reunion for the folks around here, but the food served is fantastic. We joke about it, but yes, I even love the fact that I can tell who is driving by, just by the sound of their tractor.

One of my favorite moments living here was when I drove by the house of a local volunteer firefighter who had just lost his grandfather to cancer. (Now, hang on, that's not my favorite part) His grandfather was the king of lawn ornaments around here. (I think I am actually shunned for not owning even one lawn ornament) Grandpa had made some by himself, and took great care of them, making sure to change them with every birthday, holiday, or new season change. Once grandpa died, this firefighter had placed every single lawn ornament and wood cut-out ever made in his front yard to honor him. It was magnificent. Every square inch of his yard was covered. Santa was next to the Easter Bunny, who was lit up across from the giant "It's a Boy!" pelican. The funny part was, people didn't ask why. They drove by really slow, some with a knowing smile, and some wiping a tear as they passed. The people of our town already knew why he had done this. I am pretty sure most people considered their drive by as "paying their respects."

All that aside, look at what the neighbors brought home! They pulled in, and took pictures of eachother standing in front of their new camper. You should've seen them. I swear, if this doesn't make the papers, I don't know what good news is. Look at her- She's glorious! If only there was a gun rack in the back of the truck. Now that would be impressive.
