Hot, Greasy Love

Two of our friends were married in May. Mark and I were so excited to go to their wedding. Mark's suit was freshly dry cleaned, and I went with my sister, Lauren, to find a new dress for the occasion. After trying on dresses for an hour, I came to the grim conclusion that I had gained weight. A lot of it too. As I paid for my new tent, I decided that I needed to do something about it...after the wedding of course.
The day after the wedding I had no problem starting on my new diet, as I could barely think about food (and especially drink) without gagging. Day 1-piece of cake, ahem- fruit.
It has been 4 and 1/2 months, and I have lost 35 pounds and two sizes. I can run for 40 minutes every day and not feel like Dylan will have to call 911. I am no longer sore every morning. I have really worked at it. I have had to say no to foods that I truly enjoy. I limit my pizza intake at my mother's every Sunday night. I have cut down on the good home cooking at my in-laws every Monday. I really miss eating scrumptious desserts when we go out. Although, sometimes I treat myself, and I do continue to get Cafe Mochas pretty much every day. I just make it my breakfast, and ask them to use skim milk and no whipped cream (sniff, sniff). It's worth it in the long run though. I am back in the single digit pant sizes, I am a lot healthier, and I can keep up with my kids. Temptation, schmemptation. All in how you look at it.
On a run to Sam's Club last night we stopped at Lowe's for dinner. What, what? In our area, Dominc's has a cheesesteak stand right outside of Lowe's. You may ask, "Sarah, what do you order from Dominic's when you are on a diet?" Well dear friends, good question.
The answer? A large, foot-long greasy cheesesteak on white bread with onions, peppers, extra American cheese, and covered with extra mayo. Wait, that's not all! With the cheesesteak, you also get a bag of Doritos and a Diet Pepsi (your on a diet, remember?) because the cheesesteak guy remembers you from your days of pregnancy.
I must say, it was the best tasting food I have ever had. EVER! There was cheese dripping onto my brand new pink raincoat, and the onions were sliding out of the bun, only to eventually land on the wrapper that was picked clean after the sandwich was gone. My taste buds sang with delight, my children watched in horror, and Mark said it was one of the hottest things he's ever witnessed, as they watched the meal vanish entirely before Mark was done with half of his.
(On a separate note, I finally did my 101, check it out on the right if you are so inclined.)

Oh, I hear ya'! I gained 60 lbs. when pregnant (mostly with hot fudge ice cream cake, but there were MANY tacos and pizzas that helped)...losing the weight sucked, but I still get orgasmic over hot fudge cake!
If you're not weird about strange (as in ODD) women knowing your email, do you think you could zip off a quick one to Indigoxx2005@gmail.com ?? (No pressure if you'd prefer not to).
